COCKTAIL SEIKO PRESAGE
Although the Seiko Presage Cocktail series doesn't get as much limelight, it is a fine series nevertheless. Inspired by Hisashi Kishi, the head bartender at Star Bar Ginza (Tokyo), the Seiko Presage is modelled after his renowned cocktails. The gloss finish on the dials are applied no less than 7 separate times to achieve the texture and colour similar to that of the cocktails.
The 2 models we want to highlight are - Starlight (blue) and Sakura Fubuki (pink).

The Starlight cocktail is a deep blue, like the mystery of the night sky. Kishi mentions the secret to the Starlight cocktail is the tiny bubbles (the result of a special shake) which mimics the starlight in the night sky. If you look closely at the watch, it has the same deep blue dial with a unique texture inspired by those bubbles.
The Sakura Fubuki cocktail expresses the grace of cherry blossom in the spring breeze. Malted rice floats on the surface of the cocktail like cherry blossoms. The watch is patterned with very beautiful waves on the dial resembling the allure of cherry blossoms.
