ORIS: Propilot X Calibre 400

The ProPilot X Calibre 400 follows in a long line of Oris pilot’s watches going back to the early 1900s, but its power lies beyond its associations: it’s a mechanical joy machine.

One of the main selling points of this watch is the see-through sapphire glass case back with titanium, satin and sandblasted finishes that shows the calibre 400 on full display. The calibre 400 movement is within COSC tolerance, anti-magnetic and has a power reserve up to 120 hours (5 days), which makes it an ideal watch you can wear for long adventures.

The watch is also slimmer than the original Pro Pilot X with diameter of the case measuring at 39mm, and width of 11.8mm with luminous indices, hour and minute hands that allow users to see time clearly in the dark. On top of it is a domed top glass made up of sapphire with an anti-reflective coating inside. It is then secured safely with a turbine-style bezel, which further emphasize its identity as a pilot watch.

The watch also has a multi-piece titanium metal bracelet with a unique seatbelt buckle style folding clasp that further connects it to the aviation theme. With dial colours available in grey, blue and salmon, this is a watch for everyone.
